Join the Farmer's Daughter, Melissa Baer, as she and a butcher teach you how to process chicken.
This day will be a jam packed day. We’ll start with learning about how chickens are raised. We’ll select the chickens we want to butcher and we’ll learn to clean and de-feather the birds. In the afternoon we’ll learn how to prepare the chickens in 2 different ways to pop in the oven. You’ll leave with 2 pasture raised, organic, no corn or gmo fed chickens. 
Workshop Fee: $175.00/person 
Additional cost for materials: $75.00 (includes chickens, wood for fire, vacuum packaging)
